February 5, 2021, Jeffrey Steele, Multi-Housing News - The first quarter of 2021 will see Summit Contracting Group breaking ground on four new multifamily projects. They are Sylvan Hills Senior, an independent senior living community in South Atlanta; Berry Hill Apartments, a market-rate apartment community immediately south of Nashville, Tenn.; East Colonial, a market-rate development near Colonial Town Center in Orlando, Fla.; and The Avery, a market-rate multifamily community near Valencia College campus, also in Orlando.
Sylvan Hills Senior
The senior housing community features a four-story structure housing 183 residential units. Community amenities include a multi-purpose room with warming kitchen. Developed by The Benoit Group, with architecture by the Corcoran OTA Group Inc., the 146,453-square-foot, Sylvan Hills Senior is slated for completion in summer 2022.
Berry Hill Apartments
Five buildings will house 314 apartments in the community featuring a two-story integrated clubhouse with leasing center and community area. Construction on the 284,252-square-foot apartment community is slated to be complete in December 2022. Studio Architects served as architect of record, while Brand Properties is the developer.
East Colonial Apartments
The apartment community on East Colonial Drive will deliver 270 units housed in nine three-story buildings. Luxury amenities include a swimming pool. Construction on the 301,095-square-foot property is expected complete in summer 2022. Group 4 Design handled the architecture, while Catalyst Development Partners oversees development.
The multifamily community will be comprised of 200 units in five four-story structures. Total size of the property will be 202,780 square feet. A clubhouse with fitness center and leasing space is among leading common-area amenities. Scheduled for completion in spring 2022, The Avery will feature architecture by Group 4 Design Architectural Services LLC. The developer is Republic Properties Corporation.
